Confirmation, along with Baptism and Eucharist, is one of three sacraments of initiation into the Catholic faith. Through Confirmation, the baptized are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. With the grace of the Holy Spirit, Confirmation calls each of us to be witnesses of Christ in both word and deed.
For teens, Diocesan guidelines require a two-year sacramental preparation for Confirmation. Youth entering grades 9 through 11 may register for Confirmation if they have not yet been confirmed and have a sincere desire to receive this sacrament. Find more information below.
Confirmation is offered for already baptized and catechized adults (18 years and older) through Adult Confirmation sessions held throughout the year. Contact Deacon Tom for more information.
