The Garden Committee is responsible for maintaining the parish gardens and grounds (NOT the lawn). There are no meetings, just monthly work days on Saturday mornings, organized via email to members and posted in the weekly bulletin, and are open to all. There are also monthly signups for watering the flower pots and garden beds. Please bring your own water, work gloves, and tools appropriate for the monthly activity if you have them; there will be some tools available as well.

Membership consists of being on an email list for monthly work days and watering signups. You are NOT required to participate in all work days or signup to water! While prior gardening experience is great, if you can push a wheelbarrow, spread mulch, or use a garden hose, then you will fit right in!

Saturday, December16: – We will be spreading mulch around the parish grounds starting at 9am. Please bring work gloves and a rake if you have one (we will have some rakes available to use if you don’t) starting at 9:00 a.m.Any questions, please contact Chris at [email protected].

St. Andrew parishioner Mary Ellen Bischoff passed away on March 8, 2006. As a gift to generations to come, Mary Ellen directed the creation of the Mary Ellen and Robert A. Bischoff Garden Fund to maintain and enhance the gardens at St. Andrew Parish. Gifts to this fund will be used to maintain all the garden areas around our church. More info on:
