  A New Parish Lent Project
  
  Everyday our neighbors, who look just like us, face difficult situations, making hard choices between one necessity or another. Some are hungry. Some need clothes, have no heat, no lights, no water. Some are struggling to keep a roof overhead; facing eviction and homelessness. Often they have no hope. Where can they turn?
  
  This Lent, there will be a tree in the Gathering Space. Take a card off of the tree, make a contribution, and by doing so you will make a real difference in a neighbors’s life! Give online here.

Reconciliation
- The Lenten season is a time of preparation to celebrate the Resurrection of Christ our Savior at Easter.
  
  The practices of praying, fasting, and giving alms call us to a conversion of heart so that we might become more faithful disciples of Jesus. Part of this conversion of heart is recognizing our sinfulness and asking for God’s forgiveness.
  
  The sacrament of Reconciliation is celebrated at St. Andrew on Saturdays at 3:30.There will be no Reconciliation on Holy Saturday, April 4.
  
  The Lenten Reconciliation Service will be February 26 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church.

- Knights of Columbus Fish Fry
  
  The Knights of Columbus Council 6650 will be holding 2 Lenten Fish Fries on March 6 & 27 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m., both at St Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Apex. We will be serving 2 pieces of fried fish, French fries, Cole slaw, dessert (i.e., cookie/brownie), and choice of lemonade or water. Please help support the charitable organization of the Knights of Columbus!

  Price is $17/meal. Eat in or carry out.

- Adoration
  
  Adoration is held on the first Friday of the month for 24 hours in the chapel. Adoration begins after the 9:00 a.m. Mass on Friday and ends with Benediction at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday morning. Adoration during Lent will be March 6 & 7.
